“The Weight of Time” Inspired by Etel Adnan.

I made 25 paintings of the eight-pointed star and circles as a starting point. Play with color and shape. The minimalism, the vibrant color contrasts and the challenge of creating variation with limited resources resulted in a colorful installation.

Later I incorporated the time aspect into the project. The life cycle is symbolized by colors. The cycle of birth and death and the seasons is also used in the color palette.

Etel called her series "The Weight of the World". In her honor, I've named my series "The Weight of Time.”
