Stars

The eight-pointed star, symbol of the land of my birth, has always intrigued me.

I started to play with this shape in all kind of ways.

In a number of ways and by use of multiple techniques, the possibilities are endless.

My creative process usually starts with applying colors and shapes and all kinds of materials to the canvas causing chaos. Then order comes through the geometric symmetries in the eight-pointed star.
